Jim joined Alchemy as the Chief Technology Officer in early 2017.

 

Prior to this he was Global Product Line Manager for Production Chemicals at Lubrizol Oilfield Services (a Berkshire-Hathaway company).

 

Previously, Jim served as Director of Technology for Multi-Chem, a Halliburton Service.  Before stepping in to that role, he served in various management and R&D roles for Multi-Chem, including Director of Flow Assurance Technology, Foam Assisted Lift Product Line Manager, and Section Leader for Deepwater Oilfield Chemicals

 

Dr. Russum began his oilfield career as Senior Chemist for Nalco Energy Services in 2006.

 

He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Tennessee Technological University and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
