Doug co-founded Axia I in August 2009 and serves as Chief Operating Officer.  Mr. Harris also co-founded Orion Energy Partners in 2004 and served as Vice President-Operations August 2004.

 

Prior to Orion, Mr. Harris joined Tom Brown, Inc. in February 2001 as Vice President and was subsequently named Vice President and General Manager-Denver Division. 

 

From February 1986 through January 2001, he served in various management positions most recently as Vice President-Production for Burlington Resources Canada in Calgary. 

 

Mr. Harris has 42 years of oil and gas industry experience.  Mr. Harris is currently an active investor and board member of Melior Innovations, Alchemy Sciences, Select Oil Tools, Petroshare and Oxygenator Water Technologies.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University.
